Responsibilities
1.Responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support.

2.Lead or participate in site R&D activities for in-house or co-development projects in coordination with the head office team.

3.Support the US team in the establishment and operation of the US subsidiary, including the establishment of R&D laboratories, pilot workshops and storage facilities.

4.Assist the BD team to develop new customers and support the team in product demonstrations and addressing customer inquiries.

5.Provide training to customers and internal teams to ensure full understanding of products and services.

6.Gather customer feedback and market information to make recommendations for product improvement.

Requirements

1.Ph.D. in Chemistry, Life Sciences or related field is required.

2.1-3 years of research and development experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry or related field.

3.Strong communication and problem-solving skills with an outgoing and open mind.

4.Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.

5.Permission to work in the country where the site is located is preferred.

Responsibilities

1.Responsible for generating new business opportunities through research and various means to contact and engage.

2.Responsible for the establishment and operations of the US subsidiary, including the establishment of R&D laboratories, pilot workshops, and storage facility.

3.Follow up on leads generated through other sources including but not limited to pharmaceutical companies, biotech and academia.

4.Structure, negotiate and facilitate transactions of various modified nucleotides with sufficient speed.

5.Meet quarterly and annual sales targets and provide accurate sales reports and forecasts.

6.Act as a proactive partner with existing clients i.e. to be an advocate and offer additional existing or new services.

7.Identify and manage expectations and objectives of both internal stakeholders and external partners; ensure coordinated and compliant processing with timely communications and reporting.

8.Maintain an active schedule for meeting with new and existing clients in the biopharmaceutical and other industries, expecting intensive traveling.

9.Contribute to business development strategy and implement operation models by working with senior management.

10.Participate and make presentations on behalf of company at partnering events and other various conference and networking events.

Requirements

1.Advanced degree in Chemistry or life sciences required; PhD preferred.

2.3-5 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry with broad scientific knowledge and business development experience.

3.Strong business acumen; ability to translate scientific and technical information to create partnering opportunity and to influence decisions or issues with business impact.

4.Strong networking, organizational, analytic and negotiation skills as well as a sound judgment.

5.Good understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape.

6.Excellent written and oral communication in English.

7.Self-motivated and can act independently.

8.Having a permit to work in USA is preferred.
